I put in some work practicing Roundabout on a Wednesday and wanted to see how I'd compare to Sunday's match day. Some of my practice runs were pretty blazing by my standards. But, I did have several that got away from me and left some misses on the table. Felt like I would need to throttle down a little on match day to avoid disasters.
Side note, You may notice the match day splint on my left hand. In between days I managed to jam up my support hand fingers trying (poorly) to learn how to surf. Turns out I tore a tendon and will be in a splint for a while, but no surgery. The timing is unfortunate as the Area 6 championship is this weekend. I shot fairly well on Sunday, so I should be ok in RFPI and RFPO. Starting gun-in-hand with light recoil seems manageable. I won't be able shoot limited, though.
